The next Virtual Course will take place in May 2024 with two interactive meetings as well as exercises performed via our comprehensive and supportive eLearning platform. During the interactive meetings our lecturers will introduce the participants step-by-step to treat patients with LM-Activator™. In between the sessions the participants will familiarize themselves with study material, view webinars and videos, and perform practical exercises on the eLearning portal. This online course is free of charge.
Program of the Virtual Course
Lecturer Dr. Gioacchino Pellegrino
Dr. Pellegrino graduated with honors from the University of Naples in 1985 and he is working in his private orthodontic clinic in Caserta, Italy. In 1993, Dr. Pellegrino completed his postgraduate training in orthodontics and thereafter he has participated in a great number of continuous education courses in various topics of orthodontics.
In recent years Dr. Pellegrino has acted in several academic positions as a teacher and as an adjunct professor (University of Naples Federico II, University of Foggia and University of L’Aquila). He is frequently invited lecturer in national and international conferences and private courses. Dr. Pellegrino has published several peer-reviewed papers and he is a member of several dental and orthodontic societies (SIDO, EOS, IBO, EBO, ANDI and SIOI). In 2020-2021 he is also a member of the board of the Italian Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Lecturer Dr. Stefania Dinu
Dr. Ștefania Dinu is a Lecturer in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry, “Victor Babeș” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Timișoara, Romania. She received her PhD in Dental Medicine in 2011 and she is specialist in Orthodontics and also in Pediatric Dentistry.
Since 2006, Dr. Ștefania Dinu has also been working in her private practice, being co-founder of Family Dental Clinic from Timișoara, which is specialized in orthodontics and dento-facial orthopaedics, pediatric dentistry, implantology, endodontics, periodontology and general dentistry.
She is an active member of several Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontic Societies (EOS, EAPD, IAPD, WFO, ANSPR, ESGH, AREO, RSA). Her scientific work includes books and book chapters, articles as author/co-author conferences and presentations at scientific events. Her research interests include early orthodontic treatment, myofunctional orthodontics, airway disfunction, dental anomalies and genetics.
