What does LM-Activator™ mean to you ?
Introducing LM-Activator™ in my professional practice many years ago represented a turning point in the approach to orthodontic therapy. Today, a big part of the work in my dental clinic is carried out using these appliances, but the biological principles that are the basis of this work are present in all my diagnoses and therapeutic proposals regardless of the type of orthodontic appliances used.
Using LM-Activator™ means that the patient needs to use the orthodontic appliance only during the night. The appliances are extremely comfortable due to the consistency of the biomedical silicone that allows the therapy to be carried out using very light forces.
What kind of results have you seen at patients treated with LM-Activator™?
After many years of professional use, I can say that with a correct diagnosis of the evolutionary characteristics of malocclusion and good clinical experience, these orthodontic appliances are an extremely versatile tool. The main aspect is the LM-Activators™ ability to manage vertical morphological problems inside the mouth and ultimately contribute to creating a dimensionally more harmonious face.
What has influenced you to be as a lecturer for LM-Activator™ ?
I have been able to combine the use of this appliance with my natural desire to get to the bottom of things. Over the years, I have deepened my knowledge of LM-Activator™ and how to use it even in challenging patient cases. Today, the search for optimizing guiding the eruption using biomechanical forces, orthodontic treatment and rehabilitating oral functions characterizes my research and teaching. This work and LM-Activator™ enables me to continuously meet many colleagues from all over the world who, like me, from a professional point of view are in love with early orthodontic treatment.
